Video Game Camp Information
What are the dates & times of the camp?
The camp runs from March 14th to March 17th, from 9AM to 1PM
What ages are eligible?
The camp is designed for first timers. Anyone from 12 to 112 is welcome
What experience do students need to have?
The camp is designed for students of all levels and experience. Whether you are a budding animator with your own YouTube channel or someone who has never done any animation or modeling, but just wants to learn, this camp will cater to all levels.
What equipment do students need to have for the camp?
Absolutely nothing. Everything will be provided.
Where do the proceeds from the camp go?
The purpose of the camp is to help fund the WGSS Computer Studies program. Proceeds will be put directly back into the program to purchase more equipment (hardware & software) for students of Walnut Grove
What software will be used?
The Unreal Engine, specifically the version that comes with Unreal Tournament 3. Skills learned apply to all versions of the Unreal Engine including UDK and Unreal Engine 4.
What is included in their registration cost?
Full use of all the technology in the WGSS lab. We also provide snacks and drinks each day.
What can students expect to learn?
How to create a fully playable video game level.
